On Wednesday, February 21, Change Healthcare, the clearinghouse used by CHRISTUS Health Plan, experienced a cybersecurity event. There is no identified risk to CHRISTUS Health Plan�s systems or technology. CHRISTUS Health Plan has partnered with Availity as a clearinghouse solution for providers to submit electronic claims. Providers can sign up with Availity to submit claims by clicking the link below to create an account:
Additionally, as of March 13, Change Healthcare has implemented a solution via Optum Intelligent EDI. Providers may also utilize this solution. Please look for an announcement from Optum dated March 12, 2024 and reach out to Optum directly at 1-866-678-8646 with any questions that you may have.
